How to Apply (Official Process)
Register on National Portal
Visit pmsuryaghar.gov.in and click on 'Apply for Rooftop Solar'. Select your state, DISCOM company, and enter your consumer account number.
Submit Solar Rooftop Application
Enter proposed solar system capacity and upload a copy of your recent electricity bill.
Feasibility Approval by DISCOM
Wait for technical feasibility approval from your local power distribution company (DISCOM).
Installation by Registered Vendor
Choose any registered vendor from the portal list to install the solar panels, inverter, and balance of system.
Net Metering & Subsidy Release
DISCOM inspects the setup, installs net meter, and generates commissioning certificate. CFA subsidy is credited to your bank account within 30 days.
