Scheme Overview
Rythu Bharosa is the Telangana government's farm investment support scheme. It replaced Rythu Bandhu in January 2025 and raised the support from ₹10,000 to ₹12,000 per acre per year. The money is paid in two instalments of ₹6,000 per acre, one for the Vanakalam (Kharif) season and one for the Yasangi (Rabi) season, straight into farmers' bank accounts. Payments are based on land records in the Bhu Bharati portal and cover only cultivable land; land shown as fallow, layouts, roads or mining land is excluded after satellite checks.
Target Beneficiaries

Frequently Asked Questions about Rythu Bharosa
Do tenant farmers get Rythu Bharosa?
The payment goes to the pattadar recorded in Bhu Bharati. Tenant farmers should check with their AEO, since coverage of tenants depends on the state's current guidelines and a registered lease.
Can I get both PM-KISAN and Rythu Bharosa?
Yes. PM-KISAN is a central scheme and Rythu Bharosa is a state scheme, so an eligible farmer can receive both.
Why did I not get money for all my land?
Only cultivable land is paid for. If part of your land is shown as fallow or non-agricultural after verification, that part is left out. Contact your AEO to correct any error.
